Rates & Insurance

The fee for a 50-minute individual session is $200. Couples or family sessions are $280 for an 80-minute session.

I am an out-of-network provider for PPO insurance policies, which means that I will not bill your insurance directly, and upon request will provide a Superbill of services you've attended for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.  Please check with your insurance carrier in regard to your insurance deductible and co-insurance or reimbursement rate. It is important to note that most insurance companies require that the treating therapist provide a clinical diagnosis and sometimes additional information. When contacting your insurance company, here is some helpful information to gather:

1) What behavioral health services do they cover out-of-network?

2) How many sessions do they cover?

3) What is the rate of reimbursement?

4) What is your deductible?

I am a participating provider in the Lyra network. If you have benefits with Lyra through your employer, be sure to mention this prior to scheduling an appointment.

If you are needing financial assistance, I provide limited sliding scale spaces, or can offer referrals for low-cost providers. Prior to scheduling your initial session, inquire about the availability of sliding scale sessions.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
